SidelineSwap is hiring a Customer Experience Associate to join our team. As a Customer Experience Associate you will be responsible for ensuring buyers and sellers on SidelineSwap have an amazing experience. We’re looking for someone with a passion for helping others who will immerse themselves in the SidelineSwap community. 

This role will involve supporting buyers and sellers throughout transactions, as well as arbitrating disputes and monitoring the marketplace for fraudulent activity. You will aggregate actionable feedback from customers and communicate that feedback to our product team so we can improve the user experience. You can also expect to work with our marketing team to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Engage with SidelineSwap users via online support in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Demonstrate empathy while eloquently brokering resolutions in disputes between buyers and sellers.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and recommend solutions to a broad range of customer support requests.
  • Maintain efficient processes that require strong attention to detail, and seek new, creative ways to optimize our current systems.
  • Work closely with our product team to gather feedback from the community and communicate that feedback to our product team in a coherent, organized manner.
  • Keep a constant, vigilant eye on all site activity to spot fraud and other suspicious activity.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 0-2 years experience in a customer support role

  • Exceptional written communication skills with keen attention to detail

  • Believes that helping users is crucial to the growth and success of the company

  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of sports gear.

  • Ability to quickly understand customer problems and independently solve them while providing an amazing customer experience
